Emerging from the success of his sell-out summer collection, Henry Holland has just released a selection of vases and candle sticks that are at the peak of our fall lust-list.

The collection, which includes 12 new vases and eight candle holders, celebrates Henry’s rustic yet stylish aesthetic that will crown your autumnal scheme – and reshape your modern decorating ideas in the process.

The designer used the Nerikomi technique – a traditional Japanese method that involves stacking, folding, and rolling different colored clays into slaps to create a ripple-like effect when formed into shapes. This combination of color and clay means that every piece is unique – so you can fill your scheme with individuality.

‘The vase and candleholder silhouettes came around with the molds that I use to create my dinner and serve-ware,’ Henry explains. ‘Due to limited space in our studio, we are always stacking things on top of each other, and I was enjoying some of the shapes that we could create.’

While Henry Holland is influential in the ceramics industry, you may also recognize the East London-based creative from his eponymously-named fashion label. The designer fell into ceramics whilst taking a break from fashion during the pandemic – and he’s setting interior design trends in the process.

Our favorite stand-outs from the new collection include the Blue and White Maxi Tudor Vase (named after Henry’s namesake Henry VIII) and the Green and White Profumo Vase that Henry describes as ‘iconic, distinctive, and instantly recognizable.’ We also love the Terracotta and White Tudor Vase – a brand new colorway that Henry suggests we see even more frequently in the coming months.

These pieces are the perfect autumnal dining room idea and also stand stylishly in the kitchen and on your fall mantelpiece. They also work effortlessly alongside his last ceramics collection to create a patterned flow around your home.

‘I really like the idea of continuity that runs across both the tableware and these vases. You can see elements taken from my mugs and my bowls translated into an entirely different product but still with the same DNA,’ Henry shares.

Now you have every excuse to invest in his tableware, too – if you haven’t already.
