Most Curated is a monthly series in which one editor, team member, or friend of Livingetc will share the top 15 items on their current wish list.

I don't know about you, but as soon as the weather gets into the chilly category, I have an urge to tone down everything and adopt a more pared-back approach. This is mostly to distance myself from the bright hues that pepper my home during summer, as at the end of the year, I gravitate toward cooler tones.

But that does not mean I want a cold space, quite the opposite actually. I like to incorporate neutral shades such as creams and browns because when paired together, they bring a warm and cozy feel to my whole space.

My search for such pieces started and ended at Net-a-Porter as I combed through the retailer's home section to find chic, clean pieces I could add to my home without making too much of a fuss. Soho Home's Prato bookends were first to go in my cart. Inspired by the décor of London's 180 House, their brown marble makes for the perfect statement piece. A cream porcelain dinner set was of course a must, along with a matching teapot—as a Brit, I always have time for afternoon tea. Wool-blend throws and cushions from Brunello Cucinelli and Loewe were my next obvious necessities. Below, take a look at these and more of the 15 home décor items I'm buying this fall, just in time for my next house party.
